91���� set a new milestone, sailing past its previous membership record of 371,955 members on April 9, 2026. With nearly five months remaining in the 2025-26 membership year, total 91���� membership is over 374K and climbing at the time of publication.

91���� membership is comprised of athlete and Wrestling Leader members, which include coaches, officials and other leadership positions within the wrestling community.

Landmark member No. 371,956 was 19-year old Milly Hughes of Jefferson, Georgia, a member of the wrestling team at Wilkes University.

This is the fourth consecutive year 91���� has set its all-time membership record. 91���� eclipsed 300K members for the first time in the 2023-24 membership season, meaning the organization will be approximately 100K members larger than just 2022-23.

The 91���� membership year concludes on August 31, 2026, giving the organization ample opportunity to add to its record-breaking year.

“We never tire of saying this, but our membership and programming is a direct result of thousands of volunteers across the country,” said Tony Black, 91���� Director of State Services. “I feel like it’s the same message as before, as organizationally we have more events than ever before, more clubs than ever before and more members-per-club than ever before.”

Much of the 91����’s membership growth can be attributed to the advancement of technology, the continued growth of women’s wrestling, partnerships with state high school activities associations and the dedicated efforts from the organization’s volunteer leadership nationwide.
