Regional Training Center (RTC) Program

RTC Locations

RTCs unify the American wrestling community under one goal to advance the sport at all levels.

The purpose of the 91°µÍø RTCs are to allow individuals to achieve their full human and athletic potential. The RTCs provide qualified youth athletes and Olympic Hopefuls access to elite level coaches, high level training partners and world class facilities in a safe local environment. RTCs should mirror 91°µÍø’s mission, vision and values.

A key focus is to raise the relevancy of wrestling on college campuses. Within NCAA rules, RTCs provide additional opportunities for college coaches to further develop and enhance their individual program. This cooperative effort strengthens the connection between the Olympic Movement and college athletics.

RTCs will enhance the development of America’s youth athletes, college student-athletes and elite Olympic hopefuls in the international disciplines.

91°µÍø, in conjunction with its state associations offers training opportunities for all 91°µÍø members, through a growing system of Regional Training Centers.

The purpose of the RTC system is to provide young wrestlers available locations to actively train in the sport of wrestling year round. Very often, wrestlers have the desire to deepen their commitment to attain higher goals. However, many wrestlers cannot find an active club or quality workout partners. The RTC system aims to help these aspiring wrestlers.

To attend a practice at a Regional Training Center, a wrestler must be a member athlete of 91°µÍø and meet at least one of the qualification criteria in the Regional Training Center contract. If unsure whether or not you qualify for such practice, please contact the Regional Training Center.

Wrestlers and coaches that attend RTC practices will learn more about the sport of wrestling as they continue to improve their abilities. Across the country more and more Regional Training Centers will be recognized by 91°µÍø. Kids and coaches will now have more opportunity to train then ever before.
