A single-leg attack from Tsarni that brought Saksham off the ground for a near lift for Tsarni resulted in the first two points of the match. Tsarni grabbed a 4-0 lead with a takedown and then, with a standing single, he pushed Saksham off the mat to go up 5-0. Looking for a duck under, Tsarni’s initial shot was stopped, but he still forced Saksham to the edge, and Tsarni controlled the takedown to go ahead 7-0 at the intermission. The offense kept coming from Tsarni to secure his fourth bonus victory of the day with another single shot for the takedown into a gutwrench.

In an early par terre battle, Wax escaped Daerrcheli’s grasp to take control and grab a 2-0 lead. Daerrcheli looked to score from a standing single leg, but Wax turned the tables and grabbed two points on the takedown. A single leg shot from Wax scored for two after he took control of both legs. Wax continued to press offensively and forced out Daerrcheli to grab a 7-0 lead. Wax sealed the match with another takedown after circling Daerrcheli to walk away with a 9-0 victory.

Zhanat put on the clock, and on the ensuing restart, Wax came at him fast with a knee pull takedown. Wax went up three after the clock expired on Zhanat. Zhanat scored a stepout point to make it 3-1 at the break. To start the second period, Zhanat flipped Wax for four and grabbed a 5-3 lead, but Wax drove the action out of bounds to pull within a point. Wax regained the lead with an ankle pick. Strong defense from Wax allowed to turn an offensive attack from Zhanat into an 8-5 lead by sending Zhanat to his back from the ground. Zhanat tallied a reversal on the sequence, but that was all he would score down the stretch with Wax winning, 8-6.

Tsarni scored first on a slide by and after bringing Yoshida to the mat, he turned him with a gutwrench. Tsarni then went in for a double leg. After Yoshida tried to get away from the attack, Tsarni brought him back in and scored a back-to-belly four-point throw to take an 8-0 lead. Tsarni dodged an attack from Yoshida and tacked on four more points after collecting a cradle. Tsarni was settled in for the fall 55 seconds into the match.

In the first 20 seconds of the bout, Wax grabbed a headlock and brought Jadhav to his back to take the early 4-0 lead. After the takedown, Jadhav got on the board after putting Wax out of bounds. Wax used another upper body attack to get behind Jadhav and broke down his quadpod to go up 6-1. Locking in a head pinch, Wax brought the action to the mat and tilted Jadhav to grab an 8-1 advantage. After attempting another turn, Wax lost control and Jadhav put Wax in danger to make it an 8-3 contest, which held at the break. Wax worked behind Jadhav once more and sent him down to the mat from a quadpod position to take a 10-3 lead. Wax hit a blast double and turned Jadhav once to win by technical fall, 14-3.

Tsarni scores a quick takedown on a double leg and goes to a gutwrench to take a 4-0 lead. Tsarni went ahead 6-0 after converting on a single leg attack and circling Isazadeh to control the takedown. After going neutral at 2:26, Tsarni looked for an inside trip, but Isazadeh took Tsarni to the mat for two as time expired in the first period. Battling in par terre, Tsarni grabbed Isazadeh’s ankle and sent him to his back to take an 8-2 lead. Tsarni then worked in an armbar to tilt Isazadeh for two more, and he settled in for the pin with 12 seconds left to win.

Shamsipourhajivand scored the first takedown with a snapdown from the under-over position and worked into a leg lace to turn Howard and grabbed a 4- 0 lead. Howard went down 5-0 going out of bounds. At the break, Shamsipourhajivand held a 5-0 advantage. A Howard step out made the score 6-0. Shamsipourhajivand forced Howard twice more to go up 8-0. Howard scored once from a caution, but Shamsipourhajivand held on to win 8-1.

Burke put on the activity clock at 3:03. Fujiwara took the 1-0 lead after the shot clock expired on Burke. Burke worked strong defense on a Fujiwara double leg attack into an exposure. However, Fujiwara took the action to the edge of the mat and controlled the takedown for two to grab a 3-2 lead at the break. Burke scored on a double leg attack into a leg lace to grab a 6-3 lead. Burke tried to transition to the upper body and lift Fujiwara, but Fujiwara put Burke on his back for four. He extended his lead to three on a takedown on a single leg. Fujiwara went up 10-6 on a step out. The 10-6 scoreline stayed in favor of Fujiwara at the end of the bout.

Tsarni came out strong from the hop on a go-behind into a gutwrench for a pair of turns to go up 6-0. Tsarni went up 7-0 after the activity clock expired on Zalvovskyi. Tsarni locks in a cradle to bring Zalvovskyi to his back for two, then transitions to a gutwrench to win 11-0.

Deputy takes Rzazade to the edge of the mat for a takedown to grab a 2-0 lead. Rzazade makes it 2-1 with a Deputy stepout. On a standing single leg of the restart, Deputy scored two off the takedown and two turns from a gutwrench to take a 6-1 lead at the break. Deputy continued to roll with another single shot on the edge to go up 8-1. He then worked back-to-back go-behinds to win 12-1.

Nabiev takes an early 1-0 lead after forcing Restivo out of bounds. Nabiev worked an armbar just before the end of the first period to expose Restivo once to take a 3-0 lead. Nabiev maintained control throughout with the four-point move and Restivo’s lone point came off a reversal. After a challenge on the sequence, Nabiev led 8-1. Restivo looked to rally late, but with the two wrestlers batting in par terre, Nabiev exposed Restivo twice to secure the 12-1 victory.

Howard scored first on a go-behind, then took a 4-0 lead after turning Both. However, on the turn, Both scored a reversal. Howard took over, sending Both to his back from standing for four on a knee pull. Howard closed out the match circling Both for a takedown, then tilting him for two more points on a gutwrench.
