Bella Manno secures a headlock in her 6-4 semifinal win in the 16U division of the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals
Bella Manno (Phoenix, Ariz./Valiant Wrestling Club) has been named the 91°µÍø Athlete of the Week after a dominant performance at the 2026 U15 Pan American Championships in Mexico City.
Manno won gold at the U15 Pan American Championships, scoring three 10-0 technical falls in the 50 kg women’s freestyle division. She needed just 30 seconds to defeat Puerto Rico’s Kassandra Vazquez Santana in the quarterfinals. She then beat Mexico’s Brianda Cruz Lopez in 49 seconds in the semifinals and topped Dayhana Bernal Rodriguez 10-0 in 58 seconds in the final, finishing with a total mat time of 2:17.
The gold medal marked the second Pan American title of her international career and came days after she won the 16U title at 105 pounds at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, N.D. There, she won six matches, five by technical fall shutout, including a 10-0 victory in the championship match.
